Dickinson’s men’s club volleyball lost their first game of the semester against Shippensburg this past Saturday, Feb. 3.

The Red Devils got off to a rough start in their first set, losing 25-9. They bounced back with a much better performance in the second set. They started off a little rocky, but quickly started keeping pace with the Raiders and brought the score to a 10-10 tie. The teams went point for point for several rallies. Dickinson pulled ahead momentarily, but Shippensburg ultimately won the game, despite hitting one of their own fans with the volleyball. The ending score of the second set was 25-17.

“The game was actually a really good experience for the team,” said Pierce van Mulbregt ’19, president of the club, “We all had a lot of fun and we were ready for any outcome as this was our first game in our division as we just joined the league this year.”
