About Our Audience

The Dickinsonian is the student-run newspaper of Dickinson College, located in Carlisle, PA. With a weekly circulation of 2,100, The Dickinsonian reaches an expanding student body, as well as the College’s faculty, administrators, and staff. We also currently reach more than 200 Dickinson student families in 20 states through our subscription service.

Advertising Deadlines and Guidelines

Submitting an Advertisement request:

1. Review our Pricing Guide below. Be sure that you are looking at the pricing category that fits your business.
2. Get in touch with us at [email protected]. The email should include:
   • Type of business
   • Number of ads you would like to purchase
   • Issue you would like your ad to appear in
   • Size of the ad that you would like to purchase

We will reply with further steps!

Deadlines:

It is important that we receive the ad materials at noon on or before the day of the ad deadline for each print issue. See our Ad Schedule below. If we do not receive the ad before the deadline, you will not be charged, but your ad won’t be published. These materials must be mailed to [email protected].

Pricing Guide:

Our advertising rates are tailored: National businesses pay premium, local businesses get competitive rates, and nonprofits receive discounts.

🏆 National – Premium rate for large businesses with national reach ($$$)

• If you’re a large, national brand, you fall into the National category.

🏙 Local – Standard rate for regional businesses ($$)

• If you’re a local business serving Carlisle, PA, or surrounding areas, you fit the Local category.

❤️ Nonprofit/Dickinson Department and Groups – Discounted rate for registered nonprofits ($)

• If you’re a nonprofit or charitable organization or a Dickinson Department/club/organization, you qualify for our Nonprofit rate.
