The Red Devils followed a disappointing 3-2 loss to Bryn Mawr with a 3-0 loss to Franklin & Marshall. Bryn Mawr visited the Kline Center on Thursday, Oct. 24. Both teams entered with only one conference win, but, it was Bryn Mawr who would come away with the close win after a dominating 15-8 fifth set.

Franklin & Marshall, a division III powerhouse, proved how good they are with a sweep of the Red Devils. The Diplomats improve to 22-4 overall and 9-0 in the Centennial Conference.

Against Bryn Mawr, the Owls flew out to a one set lead, 25-19. Dickinson grabbed the second set, 25-16, before Bryn Mawr answered right back, 25-20. In their best set of the day, Dickinson outscored Bryn Mawr 25-15 to make it appear like they had changed the momentum of the game and would cruise in the fifth set. Unfortunately for the Red Devils, Bryn Mawr took over in the fifth set to win 15-8.
Against Franklin & Marshall, the Diplomats finished the Red Devils quickly. In the first set, the Dips outscored the Red Devils 25-12. They dominated the second set 25-7. Dickinson showed heart in the third set, making it competitive even though they were down 2-0 to the best team in the conference. F&M took the set 25-16.

Dickinson plays their last game on Saturday, Nov. 2 at 1:00 p.m. They host the Johns Hopkins Blue Jays, who are 9-12 on the year.
