Aïssata Koné, Life & Style Editor
Aïssata, a sophomore psychology and French major from Philadelphia, PA, is The Dickinsonian’s Life & Style Editor for the Fall 2024 semester. Before this, she was a Staff Writer and wrote for her high school’s newspaper, The Panther Press, during her senior year. Some of Aïssata’s favorite pieces are a retrospective on Megan Thee Stallion, an advice column she ran with her best friend and a living obituary she wrote for a writing competition. Apart from writing, Aïssata also enjoys working at the Dickinson College Children’s Center, volunteering with Big Brothers Big Sisters and attending ADCC (African Diasporic & Cultural Collective) meetings. She also enjoys listening to music, giving free (unsolicited) advice to her friends and crafting.
