Camilla, a sophomore Middle East Studies major from Parkville, MD, is a Copy Editor with The Dickinsonian. Last year, she was a Staff Writer with the paper. Her favorite stories she has written are her interview with Palestinian-American political analyst Rami Khouri and her article on Ramadan. On top of The Dickinsonian, she is also an officer of Dickinson Arabic Club, contributes to the Muslim Educational and Cultural Association (MECA) and is a member of the Dickinson Coalition for Mutual Liberation. She also interned with TurnUp Activism last summer, which aims to increase civic action among youth. In her free time, she loves embroidery, reading, gardening and other grandmotherly activities.
