There are special days at the salad bar where you can put your dressing of choice on your salad and they mix it for you. For some reason, the salads are instantly better when thoroughly mixed by someone.

They also seem to have more of a selection on these days. I chose to put iceberg lettuce, cucumbers, zucchini, mozzarella, peppers and tomatoes in my salad, topped with a sweet white vinaigrette dressing.

I’m more of an iceberg or romaine lettuce fan, so seeing iceberg lettuce as an option at the salad bar was really exciting. I wish they would offer it more often!

The cucumbers, peppers and tomatoes were as usual, tasty and nutritious, but the zucchini was a new touch to the salad bar, which was exciting, but not as exciting as the mozzarella being an option. They’ve never had the option of mozzarella at the salad bar and everyone was definitely excited to try out the new cheese selection. It was creamy and delicious, and went great with the sweet white vinaigrette dressing.
