Major: While Nelly has not declared a major yet, she intends on majoring in political science and international business and management (INBM).

Activities on campus: On campus, Nelly is involved with the Black Student Union (BSU) and F.R.U.I.T. 

Describing their style: “I think my style is meant for the colder weather” Nelly said. She likes to wear pieces that keep her warm like a trench coat or jacket.

What makes their style unique: Nelly does not necessarily think her style is unique, instead she chooses pieces of clothing that she likes. “I don’t find the absolute need to tear myself from others by how I look. If I like it, I’ll wear it,” she said.

Favorite stores: Her favorite stores are Urban Outfitters, Pac Sun and other online retailers.

Favorite era of fashion: Nelly loves the current era of fashion because “the 90s are coming back”.

Importance of fashion in daily life: Nelly says fashion helps her feel confident and motivated.

Fashion motto/advice: “Don’t pick out what you’re going to wear the night before. Pick it in the morning, you have to feel it.”
