Q: What are some clubs and organizations you are a part of at Dickinson?
A: I am currently the vice-president of the Economics Club, and I’m also a member of the Swimming Club.
Q: What is your favorite course this semester and why?
A: This semester I am really enjoying the course A Tale of Two Recessions: 2008 and 2020. I like this class because we are learning what happened during the recession of 2008 in detail, which I think is very interesting.
Q: Do you have a favorite show, movie, and/or book that you would recommend?
A: One of my favorite movies is Knives Out (the first one), but unfortunately it is not on any streaming platform right now.
Q: Any fun facts about you?
A: Breakfast is my favorite meal of the day.
Q: Tell us more about your internship with Young Americas Business Trust this semester. What do you do in your current role?
A: I just started an internship with Young Americas Business Trust, and so far I have been doing translation projects and preparing reports on the outcomes of a competition that ended in the summer. I hope to work more with the entrepreneurs that go through our programs so that I can have more exposure to that.
Q: What do you enjoy most about your current internship?
A: I really like the team I am working with, they are all very nice and we have a lot of things in common.
Q: Over the summer, you also interned with the Organization of American States in Washington, DC. How was your experience and what did you enjoy most about your position?
A: I had a great experience with my internship over the summer. My favorite thing was that most people in the organization are from countries in Latin America or the Caribbean so you get to know different cultures and speak Spanish with most people!
Q: What are you hoping to do after graduating from Dickinson in December?
A: I would like to have a job in economic development or an area related to that, hopefully in the DC area. I am also interested in attending grad school but I am not sure yet.
