For those of you who know me, I was a checker in the Caf until April 21 of this year. I knew I would be leaving soon, but I never expected to be leaving as abruptly as I did. I don’t want you to think I abandoned you by leaving, so I want to take the time to say goodbye to those of you who have meant so much to me during my time here.
To start, I want to say goodbye to the student workers in the Caf. For those of you who put your numbers in my iPhone, feel free to call me any time. I enjoyed spending time with you and getting to know you. I had some pretty close relationships with you when I was working and I would love to stay in touch with you. For the students who will be returning to campus next semester, have a safe summer and good luck with your studies. For my seniors, I know that you will do well in life and I want you to know that I love you all.
I also want to say goodbye to my international students Allen, Kristen and Monica (who will be going back to Brazil after this semester). You are all very dear to me. To Will, my dear friend, wear your donkey proudly. To my baseball boys—Hank, Chris, Matt and all of the boys who I watched play baseball—as well as my breakfast boys Quinn, Peter, and Peter C, I love you all. You all really made working at Dickinson special, and I will miss you all.
Thank you all for your friendship. I will never forget the good times we had together and I wish you all the best.
