Caf Creation: Cucumber Sandwich

If you have ever wondered what you should eat for breakfast, lunch or dinner on your busy days of college, have no fear, the answer is a cucumber sandwich. What I like about this sandwich is that it takes less than three minutes to make. In addition, this sandwich is filling and healthy (but in a way that still salivates the taste buds). That said, if you are running all around campus because of class or other campus commitments, you can take this sandwich on the go. If you’re interested in a quick and easy sandwich that will keep you filled all day, follow the steps to making this lovely sandwich below:

Ingredients and Directions:

Baguette, sliced and toasted (although any bread will do, preferably bread with nuts)

Butter (to be lightly spread)

Hummus

Swiss Cheese

Cucumber (on top of the swiss cheese to get the extra crunch).

The following order of the ingredients represents my recommendation of how to make the Cucumber Sandwich; however, you can change the order to fit your own personal preference. Additionally, changing something like the cheese choice is also an option to mix up the sandwich a bit and give it your own personal twist.

Enjoy!
