Describe your room style: Earthy, zen, and comforting. “I just wanted to feel at home,” Maddie said.

Favorite piece in your room: “My favorite piece in my room is the wall of ivy I have hanging,” Maddie said, which embraces the earthy style of her room.

Dream roommate: Maddie enjoys living in a single but says that “Beyoncé would be the exception.”

Dorm inspiration: Maddie says that nature was her inspiration. She “found a color palette that [she] liked,” and found items for her room that made her feel at home. Using nature as inspiration to match the ivy hanging on the wall with leaf-covered sheets and flower prints to hang.

Favorite stores: Maddie says she shopped mostly at amazon, thrift stores, and Wayfair for the decor for her dorm.

Fun Fact: “I know how to play three instruments, but not very well,” Maddie said.
